Reisjunk is a Dutch travel blog that gets you in the mood for your next trip with hand-picked tips for destinations all over the world. Reisjunk writes articles from personal experience, and we brought that authenticity back into the website design.
Based on the existing logo, we designed a complementary style and colour palette. Freedom, experience and adventure are central here, with beautiful imagery at its best.
User-friendly website navigation
Easy navigation is a top priority for both desktop and mobile. For instance, you can quickly find a destination via the clearly laid-out mega menu, or you can use an interactive world map. Thanks to related posts, we also help you find all relevant articles quickly for endless reading pleasure and the best tips. These related posts are selected by a smart algorithm based on relevance.
Maximum performance and technology for findability
We have also thought about technology to keep the website running smoothly, even with many active visitors. We use WordPress in combination with custom coded templates for the cleanest possible code and maximum functionality. Blog pages on Reisjunk.nl score 95+ in Google Page Speed. The website is also lightning fast for users thanks to the use of Object Caching.
